Are you an artist and want more info on how you can submit work on consignment? Click here for more info. First time artist/artisan work must be juried and judged acceptable by the Fine Art Council (FAC) of the Art League according to the standards set.
Artists are not required to become members. However, as members they are eligible to participate in many of the other programs the Art League offers.
To be a featured artist in the Lauritzen/Rush Gallery and/or the MacFarland
Atrium Gallery:
• Artists do not have to be members of the Art League to show their fine art.
• The quality of the art is decided by the Fine Art Council (FAC) of the Art League
of Marco Island. Any artist interested in showing in the galleries, must submit
slides or portfolio of work and a resume to the FAC.
• Gallery shows are scheduled two years in advance. The 2009/2010 season
has been filled.
Exhibits: FINE ART PAINTINGS, ACRYLICS, OILS, WATERCOLORS, PAPER, PHOTOGRAPHY, GRAPHICS, JEWELRY, CLAY, GLASS, LEATHER, SCULPTURE
AND FIBER ART.
Art League Marco Island's Center for the Arts Shows and Festivals featuring over
100 artist; Antique Car Show, Kids Art Discovery, Live Entertainment, Festival
Food & Beer Tent!
Join the fun, shop the booths, enjoy the entertainment, visit the center for free
demos and exhibits.
The Art League is also working with the City of Marco on the Arts and Crafts
portion of the Farmers Market. This is a great opportunity for Art League
Members to become a vendor.
