LEVEL OF INSTRUCTION: All levels accepted – beginners to advanced.

STRUCTURE OF YOUR CLASSES: The class will start with a demonstration followed by students doing a warm-up drawing exercise before painting.

SUBJECT MATTER: Landscapes, Abstracts. The instructor will provide photos for two of the exercises, and students must bring one photo they want to use for a painting.

CRITIQUES: Will be held after drawing and painting so students can visualize the different ways artists interpret the same scene.

WHAT TO EXPECT TO ACCOMPLISH FROM THE CLASS: Each student should leave the workshop with three completed paintings suitable for framing.

INSTRUCTOR: MOSELEY

William Ward Moseley was CEO of Moseley Architects, one of the largest firms in the country. He has been painting all his life, and for the past 20 years has completed over 1,000 paintings in oil, watercolor, and mostly pastel. He graduated from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, with a degree in building design. Moseley has received over 150 art awards from the Art League of Marco Island Center for the Arts, Naples Art Association, and associations from all over Virginia and North Carolina.
